Good morning and Happy New Year Abba Father!!!

Here I am, my Lord, longing to spend time with You, for You are the only One who satisfies!

Satisfy: To fulfill the need, desire or expectation of.

Fulfill: To bring into actuality; effect or make real. To meet (a requirement or condition); satisfy.

That’s You, Lord! Only You satisfy and You do it so lovingly and so beautifully. There is nothing that my heart desires, but You! Throughout all my life, You have shown this to me. Nothing on earth compares to You. Nothing! You are greater than all the gifts and people in the world!!!

This new year I just want to continue to be close to You. To remain in You. To bask in Your Presence and love. As I tell You all the time, I want more of You, my Lord. This is the only area where I am in want. I WANT more of You, Father!

You always fill my heart with Your goodness, love, mercy, beauty, joy, and peace. Things that the whole world cannot offer. With You I have all I need. You are the only One I need.

I love You, Lord!

DEN LA ALARMA

Se que eran las 3:20 a.m., porque cuando el Espíritu de Dios me da una palabra o un mensaje siempre me fijo en el reloj para ver que hora es y también lo escribo en mi celular para anotar las palabras exactas para que no se me olviden al día siguiente. También dijo, “Isaías 3:20”, asi que me fije en el pasaje, pero no le encontré mucho sentido, “pañuelos, cadenillas de los pies, cinturones, frasquitos de perfume, amuletos,” pero el encabezado de todo el capítulo 3 dice, “Juicio sobre Jerusalén y Judá,” que no es muy placentero pero menos mal que el capítulo cuatro que le sigue es maravilloso y alentador.

En cuanto me desperté en la mañana busqué en mi Biblia las palabras, “den la alarma,” creyendo que no las iba a encontrar, pero si están en Joel 2:1, “¡Toquen las trompetas en Jerusalén! ¡Den la alarma en mi monte santo! Que todos tiemblen de miedo porque está cerca el día del Señor.

Por supuesto que nadie sabe el día y la hora cuando Jesús, nuestro Mesías, va a regresar, pero Jesús nos dijo que estuvieramos listos y preparados para su venida. Jesús dijo en Mateo 24:42-44, “¡Así que ustedes también deben estar alerta!, porque no saben qué día vendrá su Señor. Entiendan lo siguiente: si el dueño de una casa supiera exactamente a qué hora viene un ladrón, se mantendría alerta y no dejaría que asaltara su casa. Ustedes también deben estar preparados todo el tiempo, porque el Hijo del Hombre vendrá cuando menos lo esperen”.

Esto no es un motivo de tener temor o miedo. Cada creyente anhela su maravilloso regreso. También sería bueno compartir con las personas que no conocen muy bien de la Biblia, lo que dicen las Escrituras acerca de lo que está por venir. “Demos la alarma” a los demás para decirles como ellos también pueden estar listos y preparados para el grandioso regreso de Jesús!!!

Si algunos de ustedes tienen algo que quisieran compartir acerca de esta publicación por favor hagan sus comentarios o preguntas. Yo solo les queria compartir lo que escuche en mi mente esta mañana y lo que encontré en la Biblia referente a estas palabras. Gracias por leer y ¡que Dios los bendiga!

SOUND THE ALARM

I know it was 3:20 a.m., because when God’s Spirit gives me a word or a message I make sure to look at the clock to see what time it is and I also write the exact words on my iPhone so I won’t forget them. Then He said, “Isaiah 3:20” so I looked at the passage on my phone and it didn’t make that much sense but the entire Chapter does. Isaiah 3:20 says, “the headdresses and anklets and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms,” But the heading at the beginning of Chapter 3 says, “Judgment on Jerusalem and Judah,” which is not very pleasant, but thanks to God it is followed by a wonderful and uplifting Chapter 4!

As soon as I woke up I did a search on my Bible on the words, “sound the alarm” and this is what I found: Joel 2:1, “Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—”

Of course we don’t know the day or the hour when Jesus, our Messiah, will return, but Jesus told us to be ready and to be prepared. Jesus said, in Mathew 24:42-44, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

This is not a reason to be afraid. Every believer is looking forward to His wonderful return, but we also need to share with those who do not know the Bible what is yet to come. Let’s “sound the alarm” and tell them how to be ready and prepared for Jesus’ marvelous return!!!

Thank you Father for your Word.

“Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings.” ~ Psalm 63:7

Lord, I thank you for the blessings that You pour upon us. Most of all, Lord, thank you for teaching me to trust in You. I thank You that after I pray and bring my petitions to You, You are the One in control.

Lord, what I cannot do, You do. When I feel I don’t have control to protect my sons, You do. When I’m tired, You offer me rest. When I’m hurt, You comfort me. When I need joy and laughter, You give it to me.

How beautiful You are, and how beautiful it is to seek Your face. You are my refuge in times of need. When I need love, I find it in You. When I need a listening ear, I find it in You.

When bad things happen around me, I can laugh at the days to come because You are with me. Your love and protection are close to me. I know Your promises and Your faithfulness because I am Your child. How wonderful it is to be Your daughter–Daughter of the King of Kings!
