Today, January 12, 2018 the Lord is carrying His plan for me to write a free devotional. This is where I will share my personal letters to God that I’ve written over the years in my journals. God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, and if we pay close attention, He will encourage us and guide us in a mighty way!

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” ~ Romans 12:11
Zeal: eagerness and ardent interest in pursuit of something: Fervor
Fervor: intensity of feeling or expression – intense heat.
Dear Lord,
This morning my husband prayed for me as I dropped him at work. He asked for You to speak to me during my morning quiet time with You–and You did! You gave me the verse above about never be lacking in zeal and to keep my spiritual fervor for You as I go out or stay in, serving you, my Lord.
Holy Spirit, I want more and more of You in my life. Your face I seek all day long, because in You I find hope, joy, peace, love everlasting, and everything good and pure. Oh, it feels so good to be near You, to be in Your Presence, my Lord! Yes, I now understand what hiding in You means–You are my Hiding Place.
Today is the day, my Lord, that I’ve decided to follow Your lead and freely publish my devotions for You! I want people to love You and follow You wholeheartedly. Not to compare themselves with others, but to seek Your face only, so they can experience You in a very unique way. You will speak to them individually and meet them right where they are and they will be blessed for having spent such a personal time with you, Precious Lord.

Thank you Father for your Word.
“Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings.” ~ Psalm 63:7
Lord, I thank you for the blessings that You pour upon us. Most of all, Lord, thank you for teaching me to trust in You. I thank You that after I pray and bring my petitions to You, You are the One in control.
Lord, what I cannot do, You do. When I feel I don’t have control to protect my sons, You do. When I’m tired, You offer me rest. When I’m hurt, You comfort me. When I need joy and laughter, You give it to me.
How beautiful You are, and how beautiful it is to seek Your face. You are my refuge in times of need. When I need love, I find it in You. When I need a listening ear, I find it in You.
When bad things happen around me, I can laugh at the days to come because You are with me. Your love and protection are close to me. I know Your promises and Your faithfulness because I am Your child. How wonderful it is to be Your daughter–Daughter of the King of Kings!

Dear Shepherd,
It is beautiful and peaceful to know You are the Good Shepherd, who lays His life for His sheep. You are the One who brings the wandering sheep back to the sheep-pen.
Father, thank You for reminding me to live one day at a time because each day has enough trouble of its own. I know that what causes my heart to be troubled is when I worry about my loved ones spiritual walk or lack of it. I know it is your utmost concern too and You don’t want anyone to perish. So please help me to trust in Your love and in Your promises.
Allow me to bathe in Your love and Your special care for me. I want to delight in You and not be heavy burdened. I come to You because You said, “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Thank you for being the Good Shepherd and always taking good care of Your sheep.

“Father I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.” ~ John 17:24 – Jesus
Dear Father,
This is my prayer too. I want those you have given to me (my family, husband and sons) to be with me where I am (in church, in fellowship and relationship with You) and to see and experience Your glory like I have experienced Yours. Lord God, this is my prayer request to You. Thank you Jesus for saying that prayer first. Thank you that You interceded for all of us before we were born and were created by You.
Thank you Father for your faithfulness and relentless love. Lord, now what I need from You is strength and patience. Help me to trust in You, please protect them so they can enjoy a fulfilling life. Please walk with them and guide them. Help them to say no to the temptations of this world. May they find Your love, Your joy and Your peace. In Jesus’ powerful name I pray, Amen.

My Daddy, my Loving Abba Father,
Anoint my pen, my hand, my mind, and my heart to write this prayer to You, my Lord and King!
First of all, thank you, thank you, thank you for all You have done for me. For giving me Your sweet life, your grace, mercy, unconditional love and so many spiritual gifts. Your love and care amazes me. I always want to live in the wonder and awe of who You are! Getting to know who You really are is the best thing in my life. So much that the things of this world and the people I love on this earth do not compare at all with the great love I have for You! You are number One in my life and my heart yearns to be in Your Presence, to feel Your loving arms around me, to feel the warmth and radiance of Your smile Jesus, what a glorious day it will be!
Lord, the day of my wedding, the birth of my two sons, breathtaking vacations come short to that glorious day when You will crown me with Your amazing love and will dress me in white! Waiting for the Wedding of the Lamb with You, my precious Jesus.
Today, the first day of 2020 I want You, more of You, to love You more and more each day! Of course I also want Your favor, Your blessings, Your care and protection, Your anointing but whatever You bring to me, I will love You, no matter what because the life I live is for You, my Lord, to do Your will and to bring You glory.
I’m not even scared of death because for us believers in Your Son Jesus, death is not the end, it is only a perfect beginning to Eternal Life with You. Death is actually the end of evil and pain in this tainted world with sin. What a contrast with all the beauty that awaits every one of Your children. Free from pain, disease, evil and sin. Hallelujah!!!
For me to live is Christ (You, my Savior) and to die is gain. O, how we miss this great truth! The end of this life is only the beginning to a glorious life.
Abba Father, glorious Lord, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!! Just say the word and I will follow You…

Dear LORD,
May my life be a sweet aroma pleasing to You!
Yes my Lord, my earnest desire is to love You more and please You more. The life I live, I live for You! I am eager for Your Return. I am eager to hug You and kiss You. In the meantime I will serve You and love others the way You want me to love them.
As long as I am near to You, You will keep my heart and motives pure and holy, a pleasing aroma to You, my Lord. I want to continue in Your Love so I can be fruitful for You, my Lord, and I will see the harvest in the land of the living. I will see much fruit that will be multiplied by You.
It is time, my dear Lord, to see people turning their hearts toward You, the Giver of all good things. You just want to love us and bless us. What a Great Father, You are!
Once again, my Lord, may I be a sweet aroma to You. It is all I want.
